See what I did there? That clever wordplay was part of my slogan when I ran for student government back in the 3rd grade. More importantly, for me, it was something I had never done before. I set a goal, put my mind to it, came up with a creative slogan and was elected by my peers. That’s not to say I wasn’t scared and I didn’t make mistakes. Even though I had never done it before, I pushed forward and found success.
I am a glass half full, it’s gonna work out, things will come together, kind of guy. Even with all that optimism, I have failed more than I care to list here and frankly, I believe that’s my secret. Failing is a requirement if you are going to succeed at anything.
The reason Phillip and I wanted to launch the podcast, The Uncommon Life Project, was to encourage others, highlight those that put themselves out there by taking a risk and let everyone know, You Can Dew This!
