August’s uncommon clients – Gabe & Marisol Molstre

Gabe and Marisol Molstre live in Altoona with their three children. Gabe’s full-time job is Sales Manager for Robert Half, and Marisol works for Iowa State University Extension. Gabe’s first job after college was as a loan officer for Wells Fargo.

As a 23-year-old, he was pulling people’s credit, evaluating their financial situation, assessing assets and income, and giving solutions. He learned about cash flow, interest rates, and what good and bad debt is, and how to leverage it. Gabe bought his first house a year out of school and rented rooms to friends who were all in apartments. Before long, his mortgage was being paid by others! And that’s just the beginning of the story.

Since that first rental property purchase, Gabe and Marisol have purchased one home at a time, turning each one into an investment property.

They’ve been able to acquire six rental properties without having to tap their family’s financial resources for down payments by leveraging the Whole Life – Infinite Banking Concept that they learned from Uncommon Wealth Partners.

Gabe is still working his full-time job, which he loves, but he’s getting closer to an exit strategy every day.

Embracing and working towards their dream for an uncommon life has changed the options on the table for Gabe and Marisol. The property management and rental business is an adventure, but it has also provided them with the opportunity to learn real-life, hands-on skills. But even more critical, the supplemental income through this business has facilitated their ability to acquire more properties, pay-off debt, and expand the vision for their family’s financial future.

That’s the way to be uncommon!
